Our Story
The Western Connection offers a passionate look at travel to some of the greatest dude ranches, resorts, retreats & unique global horse journeys.
After hearing from former travelers on my riding trips about how they and also myself had to go through an exhaustive process of combing through directories and websites to find the perfect trip, we hope to offer you some suggestions for your next adventure!

Recently a producer of an inflight TV show Luxury Lifestyle TV for American Airlines, United Airlines & Alaska Airlines promoting resorts and hotels around the world as well as a Publisher/Editor of a local lifestyle digital magazine in Los Angeles, Silicon Beach Magazine, our expertise offers a unique POV from years of experience working closely with clients and colleagues in Travel & Lifestyle media.

Rather than traveling in a tour bus (“get off the bus” travel, I like to call it), when you’re astride a horse, you climb under the skin of a country, absorbing every nuance it has to offer. I knew it was the most exciting way for me to travel, and I was determined to share this passion with you. I have been fortunate enough to have visited seven Western US Dude Ranches and two European Horse vacations in Scotland & Ireland and in a unique category of being “Over 50” and fascinated about becoming this "bold traveler" on a horse.
